Although these methods have been mentioned in the literature for a long time, there are only a few examples of investigation on the mechanism and the stereochemistry of reactions. Based on earlier examinations [5-7] reaction of α,β-unsaturated carbonyl compounds with dithiocarbamic acid (Michael-recation) is a suitable synthetic pathway for studying the reaction leading to the formation of 1,3-thiazines.
